We would like to thank everyone who made the 13th annual Komen Northeastern New York Race for the Cure a landmark success.  Thousands joined us on Saturday, October 6, and their collective efforts raised over $250,000 for the mission to end breast cancer. Over 4,300 individuals registered to participate.

We sincerely appreciate the generous support shown by those who chose to run, walk, Sleep in for the Cure, volunteer, donate, sponsor the race or cheer from the sidelines. Up to 75 percent of net revenues will fund local breast cancer programs in 11 upstate counties that include the Capital District.  A minimum of 25 percent of net proceeds will fund the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Award and Research Grant Program.

Again, we offer a heartfelt thank you on behalf of the Komen Northeastern New York Affiliate Board of Directors and the Race Committee. Together we will cure and end Breast Cancer.
